Bleap - a non-custodial MiCA exchange and Mastercard
Bleap (legally Bleap SIA in Latvia; parent Bleap Finance Ltd, London) is a non-custodial on-chain finance app with a Mastercard debit card. Latvijas Banka issued its MiCA CASP licence on 25 June 2026 - the eighth crypto-asset service provider licensed in Latvia. Unlike a classic exchange, Bleap does not hold user funds: assets stay in the user's MPC (Multi-Party Computation) wallet until the moment of a purchase or swap.
Licensing
Latvijas Banka issued the Bleap SIA CASP licence on 2026-06-25. It is a narrow licence covering only two MiCA services: exchange of crypto-assets for funds (fiat) and exchange of crypto-assets for other crypto-assets. It does not include custody, order execution, advice or operation of a trading platform - consistent with a non-custodial product. The licence grants an EU passport across all 30 EEA countries.
The company
Bleap was founded in 2024 by Joao Alves and Guilherme Gomes, both former Revolut product staff. It has raised about $8.3M across two rounds: a $2.3M pre-seed (late 2024, led by Ethereal Ventures, the fund of Consensys founder Joe Lubin) and a $6M seed (summer 2025, led by Blossom Capital). By the end of 2025 Bleap had 20,000+ users and had processed more than $30M in transactions.
Product
Non-custodial MPC wallet (no seed phrase), a Mastercard virtual debit card (issued by Unlimit, a Cyprus EMI), EURe (Monerium) and USDC settlement, 0% FX, 2-20% cashback (Standard 2%, Plus 5% with a €500 stake, Pro 20% with a €5,000 stake), in-app swaps across ~50 assets on Arbitrum, Base and Solana, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay. EUR fiat and an English-only interface.
